[Disclaimer: This blog is so not made by me. I’d like to thank ZM aka Zi Man on literally helping me to make this blog. iLy ZM <3]

“All the other children in my school are stupid. Except I’m not meant to call them stupid, even though this is what they are. I’m meant to say that they have learning difficulties or that they have special needs. But this is stupid because learning to speak French or understanding relativity is difficult, and also everyone has special needs,… or Siobhan who has glasses so thick that they give you a headache if you borrow them, and none of these people are Special Needs, even if they have special needs.”
-The curious Incident of the dog in the night-time` By Mark Haddon

Intro to All-Girls Private School. Walthamstow Hall

The girls in my school in England are all sluts. They fantasize about clothes, boys, parties, discos and fashion. Those items are their life. They really need to get a life. Like. Now. Their behaviour is that of one in Kindergarten. Puppy dog eyes, crying at the slightest thing. The Like. One girl. Her name is Ellie; her parents are both lawyers. She’s not exactly flavour of the month with the teachers, and she pretends to know more than she does by parroting everything the teacher says, randomly shouting stuff, singing in class, and is as obnoxious as all hell. I know I swear more than I should do, but Ellie swears 24/7. Retard. Every time she gets into trouble over something, she shouts “My parents are lawyers, they can sue you!”

The only girl that isn’t like this is called Flo. The entire class have taken to calling her Florence. She is my worst enemy, ever. Flo has this stupid voice that is as goading as all hell, and once she starts talking, no one else can get an effing word in. Until I say “God. Shut up, Flo.” She makes out she’s like this intelligent superhuman, just because she surpasses the class in most subjects. To tell the truth, she beats them at everything. She is the most unpopular person in the entire school, a wannabe and a complete sucker-up. The only reason she’s like that is because-

She’s ugly .

I’m not bitching about her. It’s true. I know ‘It is not very nice, Trina. What if someone said that to you?’. If someone said that to me, I wouldn’t care. Seriously. I don’t care about a lot of things right now. Because I have too much to worry about, and being considered pretty is the least of my worries. Once, in the first week of school, she asked me how I was so popular even if I sweared, and told people to shut up. I just told her to be natural, and don’t try to act like someone you aren’t. Like talking about beating people up all the time. It’s natural for me. Not for her.

Popularity

I told them the truth from the start. How I disliked pink, frills, ribbons, and girly stuff. I didn’t want a boyfriend, didn’t want to spend all my pocket money on clothes, or buy CDs. I told them that I didn’t want to go out to town every weekend, or go to as many discos as I can. I could tell they were surprised. Than the bell rang. I swore. Then the most popular girl [Amy] said to me “Whatever, Trin. You don’t have to like those, but I’m still surprised. But you don’t need to give a damn shit about it, ‘cause you’re cool.” I sound like one of the bad crowd, do I not?

Friends

I don’t actually hang out with Amy much, ‘cause I don’t want to start liking boys, clothes, wasting money etc. Instead, I’ve been with Alex, Milly and Abi. They’re all sporty, and their studies are great. They’re quite amusing too.

I'm missing you

Yeah. I do miss Singapore . A lot. I miss all my friends, and I miss the effing simplicity of it. A 5 minute walk to the nearest shopping mall. MRT accessible in a 7 minute walk. No fear of people doing drugs, kidnapping or rapers. Yeah. I miss Singapore. And the safety. And the people.

-I’ll blog soon.
